Vintage Wand Curl Style

Good morning luvs!

Today I’ve got the how-to on a classic style. I used my new wand curler by One ‘N Only to achieve some super soft but textured curls, and styled them into this vintage updo.

I adored this looks and was really happy with results especially considering that this was my first time using a wand curler.

Key Lime

Hi beauties

So, for Christmas my sister gifted me some great new NYX Cosmetics Lippies. I absolutely adore there lipsticks! They have an amazing color variety. This past weekend I decided to try out one of those colors. This is the color Key Lime from the Macaron Lippie line.

I was inspired by the packaging and decided to pair it up with black.  I also added a green shadow from my bh cosmetics 120 color eyeshadow palette (2nd edition) ADORE the look.

One thing to note. I did notice that the Macraon line is definitely more matte so the application isn’t as smooth as the colors from the Wicked Lippie line. Adding a light top coat of Vaseline helps.

XOXO,

TJ

Makeup No Makeup Look

Hey luvs!

So, typically I go pretty heavy and vibrant on the eyes and lips, but yesterday I wanted to go with something more natural. Here’s what I came up with.

What did I use to get this look? Here are the products. They are all drugstore products with the exception of the bh cosmetics palette.

I loved this look a lot more than I thought I would. Will definitely try similar looks in the future.

Red Ombré Lips

Hi luvs!

Yesterday I decided to go with a bold look starring red ombré lips. I seriously adore this look and used just two products to achieve it.  A black pencil by Black Radiance and Wet ‘n Wild Megalast lipstick in the color Red My Mind.

I lined my lips in the black pencil and applied the red Lippie to the center of my lips. Blended the two together and voila! What’s even better is that it stayed on ALL day! The Megalast lippies are matte with some true staying power. Here are some pics.

 That’s it for now!

NYX Highlight & Contour Wonder Stick

Happy Friday Beauties!

I am so excited, this Sunday I fly home to Florida for the holidays. My family and I will be there through January 5th!! Of course I haven’t packed a thing yet, but tonight I’m on it.

I had been contemplating my makeup travel situation and knew I didn’t want to bring a whole lot of makeup. So, I started thinking of how I could accomplish that. I have one key eyeshadow palette 4 key lipsticks, some key brushes and of course my foundation. But, I wanted a way to highlight and contour without having to bring an additional palette. So, I headed over to Ulta where I picked up this

I was so excited about this thing! I used it this morning following the handy guide by MakeupShayla on the side of the packaging. Having never used Creme products to highlight and contour this was new for me.

I applied the products as shown and blended them out. Here are my results. (these photos have not been filtered).

My thoughts, I really like it! It’s easy to use and does a nice job! Excited to have both a highlight and contour in one device!

Well, that’s it for now.

Flirty But Sturdy Holiday Hair

Good morning my luvs!

Today I’ve got the first DIY tutorial for my COME THROUGH Holiday Hair Series. If you’ll be attending a holiday party that’s going to involve a lot of dancing you’ll want to style your hair in a way that’s going to be really cute, but also secure. You don’t want to have to worry about curls falling or hair coming out of place. For your holiday events like this you should go with a “Flirty But Sturdy” style. And of course I’ve got one for you.

This look is super cute and flirty but will stay in place all night!  Check out the DIY tutorial here to see how I got the look.

XOXO
