Black Head Scarf & Pink Pout

Hey Luvs!

So I know that spring isn’t quite here yet but I am so ready for the season change. And although my wardrobe still says winter I’ve been bringing in not so subtle hints of spring with my makeup!

I adore the high contrast in the colors with this look.

Of course the eye shadows are all from my 2nd edition BH Cosmetics palette and on the lips is a simple black liner combined with a beautiful pink from the Wet ‘n Wild Matte Liquid Lipstick line called Too Tulip To Quit

The headwrap is just a simple black scarf. If you’re interested in seeing how I tie my scarves you can check out a tutorial here

Well, that’s it for now!

Earth Tones For The Win

Good morning luvs,

What is it about simple neutral colors and earth tones that can make you feel so glam? Never mind red lips and tons of color (as much as I love color). Sometimes all you need are earth tones for the win. Check out this look I did full of beautiful neutrals.

I love how this look pops! The lip and eye combination just radiates. On the lips are two beautiful colors, Take it like A Vamp by Wet n Wild and Molten Bronze by Black Radiance.

The eyes of course are all compliments of my BH cosmetics 120 color palette, specifically the colors to the left of this level of the palette

The earthy colors are so beautiful. This definitely has to be one of my all time favorite looks.

Well, that’s all for now!

Holiday Glam

Happy Friday!

Hi beauties. Today I’ve got my first holiday look for you guys. It’s super adorable and features a really pretty glow and curls.

Typically my Twist and curls are pulled in my face but this time I wanted to do something a little different. I went for a part down the middle and loved it! You can check out how I styled my hair here.

For my makeup I went for a nice glow and a pop on the lips. Wet n wilds liquid matte lipstick in the color Take It Like A Vamp is the darker shade and I filled in the middle with Rimmel Light Year from the Show Off collection.

My shadows are all from my BH Cosmetics 120 color second edition palette. And the glow, the glow is compliments of the Maybelline Contour V duo stick which has some great illumination in the highlight side.

I topped off the glow with my NYX Pro Highlight and Contour Palette. Love the way it all came together A nice balance between glam and super cute.

Well, that’s it for now!

Bringing in Color for Fall

Hey Luvs!

Happy hump day. As much as I adore fall and darker colors sometimes I miss the brightness of spring and summer. Recently, I found a way to bring them together with one statement piece. A scarf.

As beautiful as this scarf is, I would have never picked it out for myself. My sister gifted it to me last Christmas and I finally brought it out. The orange and brown are quintessential fall, but that pop of teal screams spring and summer. Together they are everything!

I paired the scarf with super cute orange earrings I think I found at Forever 21,!neutral eyeshadow and a big pop on the lips with one of my favorite NYX Wicked lippies, Scandalous.

This scarf just pulled everything together. I have got to find out where she found this beauty! Well, that’s I for now.

Secure Twists & Risque Lips

Happy Monday!

This Morning I wanted to share a super cute geeen makeup and secure protective style using my signature Twist, Pull & Pin technique. I adore the way this look turned out.

The hair is  a combination of 4 flat twists and ai added some hair jewelry for a little more flare. With the use of a little edge control and by wrapping it up every night with a Satan scarf this style can probably last a full week with no problems.

If you’d like the step by step watch the full tutorial here

Oh! And as for this monochromatic green makeup look I used my usual 120 color BH Cosmetics Palette. And the pretty green lippie is from the nyx cosmetics Wicked Lippie collection and is called Risqué. It’s crazy bold but beautiful, I think.

Well, that’s all for now!

Monochromatic Teal Look

Happy Thursday Day!

Last week I decided to try for a super bold look starring the beautiful color of teal. I adore this combination of blue and green. I wore it a lot in the summer and wanted to find a way to bring it over into the fall season. I tripled up on the color which may seem like a bit too much but I couldn’t have been more happy with the way it turned out.

For the eyes, I used my BH cosmetics 120 color second edition palette. With a combination of three different teals, I built on the colors to achieve this look. My lip color is a combination of two NYX Wicked lippies, Scandalous and Risqué.

My messy twist out and red and blonde hair color helps complete this dramatic fall look. I adored this look so much I’ll definitely be doing more monochromatic makeup looks.

That’s it for now!

Sissy & Me In The City – Day 3

Helloooo luvs,

Another day down in NYC! Sissy and I spent most of the day shopping in Time Square. We started off by taking the train into the city which was a new experience for my sister. She was so excited.

Time Square is pretty awesome and you really need several days to take it all in. Nevertheless when we made it into the city we hit up some key stores like Forever 21, H&M, and my favorite drugstore Walgreens. Each was at least 3 stories! Yes, even Walgreens! It was crazy. It was a little overwhelming but I picked up a little something from each store and managed not to do too much damage.

After shopping at those stores we decided to have some lunch. On the menu, New York’s best hot dogs, sangria and wine. The sangria was phenomenal!

After lunch we made our way further down Broadway until we ran into Macy’s, The World’s Largest Store.

Talk about overwhelming! This store is massive taking up an entire city block with 11 floors. We were only able to cover half of those before we gave up.  After about 4 hours of shopping we decided to head back to the hotel to rest.

We chilled out for a while then decided to have a classic New York City pizza. We ordered a meat lovers pizza from La Bellezza. It was delicious.

After eating and watching several upsets on College Game Day we started getting ready for the night. We booked reservations at 808 Penthouse a rooftop restaurant lounge in Queens. I pulled out lots of sequins for the evening.

On the way there I was able to capture this beautiful shot.

As for 808 Penthouse, it was pretty impressive with amazing views.

As sushi lovers we decided to get our fix and tried 2 different rolls. For drinks we both had the Pacific Sangria With sake, peach and sparkling rose. Yum!

Afterwards we decided to call it a night. We had a nice full day and was able to enjoy some great night time city views, with sushi and sangria. We felt accomplished. Next up day 4!

XOXO
