Happy Friday Luvs!
You all know how I adore faux styles. Well, this week I brought back a style from last year that got a ton of attention. This twisted faux bangs look is in my top 2 for faux styles.
It again got a ton of attention with most people wondering how in the world I achieved this style. Of course I’ve got the step by step DIY Tutorial. But first, some more pics!

Happy Friday Beauties!
So, over the holidays Creme of Nature gifted me with the new Perfect Edges that’s now in convenient on-the-go packaging. I LOVE Perfect Edges so I was really excited about the new packaging. It came along with a super cute pouch and a little brush to help slick my edges down.
Since I got it I’ve been looking for the perfect opportunity to use it. Today was the day! I woke up an hour late and had to get myself and the boys ready in 45 minutes. So, I put on the bare minimum makeup, threw my hair in a bun and grabbed my Perfect Edges On-the-Go. When I got to work I hooked it up in the bathroom and voila! Worked like a charm!
SN: I just love how my undercut helps make my basic bun so much better!
That’s it for now!
So, for Christmas my sister gifted me some great new NYX Cosmetics Lippies. I absolutely adore there lipsticks! They have an amazing color variety. This past weekend I decided to try out one of those colors. This is the color Key Lime from the Macaron Lippie line.
I was inspired by the packaging and decided to pair it up with black. I also added a green shadow from my bh cosmetics 120 color eyeshadow palette (2nd edition) ADORE the look.
One thing to note. I did notice that the Macraon line is definitely more matte so the application isn’t as smooth as the colors from the Wicked Lippie line. Adding a light top coat of Vaseline helps.
Today I’ve got a video tutorial on this Criss Cross Faux Braid
Last year I did a tone of twisted updos using my Twist, Pull & Pin technique. This year I’m testing some new techniques for styles that don’t include twists. This one, I adore.

Last Friday I shared some Big News on my social networks. I am soooo excited about the amazing start this year is having! Get all the deets on my big news below.
So, typically I go pretty heavy and vibrant on the eyes and lips, but yesterday I wanted to go with something more natural. Here’s what I came up with.
What did I use to get this look? Here are the products. They are all drugstore products with the exception of the bh cosmetics palette.
I loved this look a lot more than I thought I would. Will definitely try similar looks in the future.
Today I’ve got a video tutorial for a heavy blue makeup look that I did over the holidays. I absolutely adored this look and wanted to show you all exactly how I got it. First, here are a few pics

Last month I had the pleasure of shopping the curlBOX office at their holiday party. Two of the products I snatched up were these products from the Aalikay Naturals line
I had never tried this brand before so I was excited to have them gifted to me.
This weekend I decided to give them both a try. I used the Honey And Sage Deep Conditioner to both cleanse and condition my hair.
Let me just say, this stuff right here is amazing! The thing that really won me over with this product is that when I was done and my hair was soaking wet, I went to squeeze my hair of the excess water and there was nothing, NOTHING!! My hair had soaked up all of the water! Talk about moisture retention! I have never had a product allow my hair to do that.
Once my hair was clean and conditioned I applied the Moisture Rich Hair Parfait to set my twist out and hopefully seal in all that water.
This product is nice and thick! I applied it to all of my hair and twisted it
In the morning my hair was FULL of moisture, and the definition was everything!
I have no idea what took me so long to try this product line, but I will definitely be trying more.
That’s it for now.
Yesterday I decided to go with a bold look starring red ombré lips. I seriously adore this look and used just two products to achieve it. A black pencil by Black Radiance and Wet ‘n Wild Megalast lipstick in the color Red My Mind.
I lined my lips in the black pencil and applied the red Lippie to the center of my lips. Blended the two together and voila! What’s even better is that it stayed on ALL day! The Megalast lippies are matte with some true staying power. Here are some pics.
That’s it for now!
