This Morning I wanted to share a super cute geeen makeup and secure protective style using my signature Twist, Pull & Pin technique. I adore the way this look turned out.
The hair is a combination of 4 flat twists and ai added some hair jewelry for a little more flare. With the use of a little edge control and by wrapping it up every night with a Satan scarf this style can probably last a full week with no problems.
If you’d like the step by step watch the full tutorial here.
Oh! And as for this monochromatic green makeup look I used my usual 120 color BH Cosmetics Palette. And the pretty green lippie is from the nyx cosmetics Wicked Lippie collection and is called Risqué. It’s crazy bold but beautiful, I think.
Well, that’s all for now!
Today I wanted to share a couple of style ideas with you all. If you have an upcoming wedding to attend, a nice dinner party or some other more upscale event and want to go for something a little different, I created 2 natural hair updos that might inspire you.
They both have some really great detail up front and are super elegant.

Happy Friday luvs!
Well, my creative styling has continued pretty much all week which has been super exciting for me. I truly have missed using my signature Twist, Pull & Pin technique to create some really unique styles.
Today I want to share my favorite look from this week.
I adore this creative twisted updo style. The volume and dimension provided by the chunky twists along with my hair color really set this style off. Of course I have a tutorial! If you’re interested in seeing the step by step check out the quick video here.
Have a great weekend!
As usual I was so excited about recieving my August curlBOX. Every month they seem to level up, which is just crazy! They definitely did not dissapoint this month. The August curlBOX was filled with the Curls Blue Berry Bliss products. Yasss!!
I was getting ready to purchase this line for myself but curlBOX came to the rescue. I decided to dive into this box today and achieved this beautiful defined twist out that was full of texture

A little late posting today, but I wanted to share this stand up twist out style with you guys.
I wore this style when hubby and I were at the Essence Festival in New Orleans and got a lot of love on this look.
So much so that I decided to do a tutorial on exactly how I achieve this stand up hair. I absolutely adore this style. It’s bold and edgy and makes me feel fearless!

Yesterday I decided to stick with my double flat twists but styles them completely different! I love the way they turned out.
For this look I sectioned the hair into two parts. One in the front and one in the back. I flat twisted both sections from right to left and secured them with bobby pins. That’s it! Super easy and super cute.
That’s it for now!
Happy Friday luvs!
Late post today but I’ve got a DIY tutorial for a nice updo that works whether you have an undercut or not. It’s also very versatile. It could work for a formal event or just as a casual style. Check out this pin curl bun hawk

Well that’s it for now! Have a great weekend!
Happy Monday luvs,
I hope you all had a great Mother’s Day Weekend. Mine was great, but more on that later. I decided to go with a twist out this weekend for the simple fact that it’s quick easy and super cute.
I used one of my absolute favorite product lines for moisture, OGX Quenching Coconut Curls.
These products are so rich in moisture and my hair LOVES them. I cleansed and conditioned my hair with the shampoo & conditioner and then applied the Coconut Milk Anti Beakage Serum. I love using this product to help lock in moisture.
Next I installed medium size twists using the Curling Hair Butter. This product has a lot of slip and feels really good on my hair.
About these twists though, so much life!! With my new much needed cut, which you can read more about here, they were the perfect length to pull forward.
The next day after applying a little extra coconut milk, I unraveled these bomb twists for my day 1 twist out. Nice definition and a decent amount of texture for day 1. Ya’ll know I love lots of texture!
Day 2 Was similar to day 1, but had a bit more texture.
And day 3 is my favorite day for texture. It’s just bigger and better!
OGX Curling Hair Butter is pretty much my go to for twist outs these days.
If you haven’t tried this line of products I definitely recommend it.
Happy Saturday luvs!
Today I’ve got a DIY tutorial for this style highlighting my gorgeous sunburst color. I’m going to re-up on this Ginger Blonde and Intensive Red by Creme of Nature soon and will be sure to film the application. In the mean time, see how I got this super easy style here.
Today I’ve got a video tutorial for a twisted Updo. I used my signature twist, pull & pin technique for this gorgeous style which was also the #2 voted style from last week.
