Structured Hair

Hi luvs!

I absolutely adore the look of structured hairstyles. They’re so clean and sleek. Last week I decided to rock a structured style of my own with this mega French roll.

This is just one of many structured styles of mine but a lot of them tend to be French rolls. Although they may seem limited in versatility there are tons of ways to wear them. Check out more on the versatility of French rolls here.

As for this look. Love, love it!

Honey Blonde

Sooo…for the past couple of weeks I’ve been rocking a new color on my undercut. Staying faithful to the brand and line that has treated my hair well I decided to go with the Creme of Nature Shine in cColor line. As for color I thought it would be nice to truly embrace the season of fall by adding a lighter color to contrast with the red and darker hues in my hair. My selection, this beautiful honey blonde.

The application was easy and the result has been everything!  To see a video on the application process click here.

I will most definitely re-up on this color through fall.

3 Day Wash & Go Series

Hi beauties!

It’s not often that you’ll see me wearing a wash and go, but when I do you know I have to make it different! Last weekend I decided I wanted to define my curls. I used the Krystal Eco Styler Gel for definition.

This worked ok but I prefer the Olive Oil Eco Styler. It’s a lot more flexible. At any rate the next three days looked like this.

Day 1 – Messy curls

You can’t go wrong with messy defined curls. After all, that’s pretty much the point of a wash and go. It’s not often that I love day 1 hair but this was life!

Day 2 – High pompadour

Pompadours are one of my absolute favorite styles, so of course I decided to take my day 2 wash and go and throw it up into a bold high pompadour and pair it with some beautiful purple hues.

Day 3 – Head wrapped

A head wrap is a great way to take almost any style  and give it some flare. That’s exactly what I did with my day 3 wash and go hair. Although I don’t have a how to on tying head wraps my lovely @nellynelle19 has a great tutorial on tying headwraps that I took some tips from. You can check it out here

I had a lot of fun with these looks. Which one do you like best?

Mini Twist Bantu Knot Out

Hi luvs!

My favorite style from wearing mini twists last month has got to be my Bantu knot out. I always struggle doing this style but with twists it was so much easier! And the curls, the curls came out beautifully.

I used the same typical method for the knots and I can definitely say that I’ll be doing this style again.

Plus, the definition lasted for days!

Mini Twists – Products, Tips & More

Hi Beauties,

Last month I decided to install mini twists in preparation for the new baby. I didn’t want to have to spend time thinking about my hair, but still wanted a style that was chic. Mini twists were the answer. Check out my video talking about the products I used some installation tips and more here. Loved rocking these twists!

All Wrapped Up

Good Morning!

I’ve recently become fascinated with the world of headwraping. I have no idea why I was never drawn to this style before but lately I have been adoring the difference a standard scarf can make!

I’ve mainly been embracing this look on wash days. I will wash my hair, moisturizer it, twist it, put on a satan scarf or bonnet and get wrapped up! I’m able to look really chic for the day just by taking a simple scarf from my wardrobe and wrapping it around my hair.

As for how I do the wraps, honestly, I make it up as I go along, lol. Here are a few different looks I’ve come up with. Not bad huh?
