Perfect Edges On-the-Go

Happy Friday Beauties!

So, over the holidays Creme of Nature gifted me with the new Perfect Edges that’s now in convenient on-the-go packaging. I LOVE Perfect Edges so I was really excited about the new packaging. It came along with a super cute pouch and a little brush to help slick my edges down.

Since I got it I’ve been looking for the perfect opportunity to use it. Today was the day! I woke up an hour late and had to get myself and the boys ready in 45 minutes. So, I put on the bare minimum makeup, threw my hair in a bun and grabbed my Perfect Edges On-the-Go. When I got to work I hooked it up in the bathroom and voila! Worked like a charm!

SN: I just love how my undercut helps make my basic bun so much better!

Tip Top Holiday Hair

Hi beauties!

As a part of my Come Through Holiday Hair Series I wanted to talk about a super simple style with tons of versatility and opportunity to customize to your personal style, top knots! This look is commonly used as a go to style for lazy hair days but can totally work for your holiday event hair.

Here are 3 tips and top knots to inspire you in creating your own Tip Top Holiday Hair look

1. Don’t be afraid if your top knot is off center. I chose this look today and am in love with its character!

2. My twist, pull & pin technique works perfectly for a top knot! Just twist 2 or more sections of the ponytail, pull them in various directions and secure with bobby pins.

3. A twist out can be easily transformed into a chic top knot style. Just pull it up heigh, tuck and secure with bobby pins.

That’s it! Three easy styles for your upcoming holiday events.

Easy Bun Hawk

Hello beauties!

Probably one of my favorite all time buns and what I considered to be my go-to bun before I layered my hair is this super easy, edgy but chic bun hawk.

Bun hawk on semi-stretched hair

Bun hawk on completely stretched hair

The technique to get the look never changes but depending on the texture of your hair (wet, semi-dry/stretched or completely stretched) it can come out a little differently like you see above.

Before I started challenging myself to do something different every single day, this was an easy way to get a protective, creative yet simple style, especially if I was really short on time.

Classic Bun

Hellooo loves!

I hope you all are having a great weekend. Last week I wore a few different classic looks and here’s another I wanted to share.I gave you all a peek at this look in my Wet ‘N Wild MegaLast post, but wanted to give you the deets.

This is a really classic looking bun that I achieved by pulling all of my hair into a super high ponytail. I smoothed all of the hair together and forward, twisted the ends and tucked them under. I secured them with a bobby pin and that was it. Definitely enjoyed this look.
